and it's probably the reason he has a failed political career. He was a speech writer for Carter, but admired Reagan's style in the '80 campaign. He will run for the Senate seat in PA in the midterm elections in 2010, so now he is playing up to Hillary Clinton who was endorsed by?

A: Ed Rendell, Governor of PA.

Don't let the love of your candidate get in the way of the reading the motives of other people. Matthews will shill for Hillary until it no longer suits his needs, but don't confuse that with actual support for Hillary.

Um - Chris - Obama is not FROM the ghetto. Yes, yes - I KNOW he's black, but some black people, in fact, lots of us, aren't from the ghetto. So assuming that trying to "ghettoize" Obama means he's being sent "back" to where he came from says much more about YOU than it says about the people you claim are trying to marginilize him.
