Terry McAuliffe on Faux News Sunday now - Hillary will win!
Edited on Sun May-04-08 10:02 AM by sparosnare
"She has more votes, she's ahead in all the polls, she will run the stronger race against McCain, she had a huge lead with independents, she will bring the White House back the Democrats!"

"There is no other choice than for superdelegates to rush to Hillary's side and give her the nomination."

I have to give Terry props; he sounds as if he actually believes what he's saying.

1. Of course Clinton shill McAuliffe will say that. Although most...
of the points you cited are untrue. Due to the caucus system in some states that did not report vote totals, and due to the controversies over Michigan and Florida, it's not possible to say that Clinton has more votes. And she is not ahead in the polls. The polls are a mixed bag. Some show her ahead and some don't. The latest Rasmussen poll has it as a dead heat. And the most ridiculous thing of all that you said is that "There is no other choice than for super delegates to rush to Hillary's side and give her the nomination." LOL. There is absolutely no indication whatsoever that this is happening. Obama, not Clinton, has been picking up more super delegates lately. He just picked up five yesterday.

4. Those were McAuliffe's words - probably should have put them in quotes.
He stated all those things in his interview. I'm an Obama supporter! :hi:

19. Good. Thanks for clarifying that.
It's just that I see so much shit shoveled out by Clinton supporters that I guess I jump at it.

3. It makes me think back over the years, and wonder
what OTHER things McAuliffe has said that were just as questionable. Oh, and thanks for watching FAUX for me.

6. Terry McAuliffe reminds me of a delusional used car salesman, all psyched out
from using positive self hypnotic tapes.

7. If lies and spin were votes, Hillary would have locked up the nomination in January

8. Too bad she won't get half the Democratic vote
nor any Republicans. The Right wing supporting her will turn on her the moment the nomination is hers. . .and then go after her in the media with a vengeance that will make people yearn for the non-scandals of Wright.

Truer words are rarely spoken on DU. Why is this so hard for the Hill fans to realize?

16. She is the most polarizing candidate the dems could choose
if the super delegates make her the nominee, frankly, I give up on the democratic "leadership."

she will bring out the fundies in droves, when they have NO REASON to go to the polls because they hate McCain. Having Hillary on the ballot is asking for defeat for House and Senate candidates on the slate in areas that are contested.

She not only has huge negatives among republicans, huge numbers of democrats and even greater numbers of greens hate her and will not vote for her. this could also suppress votes for House and Senate races. People would just stay home.

I really, really try not to hate Clintonistas, but, honestly, it's difficult. I am so sick of dynasties in this nation. We need to move beyond Bush/Clinton.

The entire world is watching. If the democratic party wants to throw away yet another winning, inspiring candidate, as they did with Dr. Dean, then I suppose they've lived up to and deserve every label of "spineless," "clueless" within the "circular firing squad."

9. TPM just reported that Joe Andrew said, of Tuesday's primaries,
"Tough races that Obama's going to win. I think that he is going to win them both." (said this on Face the Nation, I believe).

Supposedly, the Clinton campaign was "quick to send a blast of the video out to reporters". God, are they twelve?

10. Obama has more votes, won 31 states to her 15, more super delegates switching to him...
lets see, he's run a clean campaign,

he didn't lie to the public (gas tax holiday that economists say is bogus)

he didn't pretend to be a hero who ducked sniper fire,

he didn't threaten super delegates (if they didn't support the McCain/Clinton gas tax holiday)

he runs his campaign in the black, she runs hers in the red - a sign of what she'll do to the country's economy?

12. Did he reinstate the 3/5 rule?
Only in Terry Mac's mind could Hillary be winning.

15. I think caucus states should take note at how eager the media and the Clinton campaign are to
disenfranchise them with this "popular vote" bullshit.
