Obama, Clinton, and Iraq
I've seen many times on this forum complaints about people not doing enough to stop the war in Iraq. What exactly should they do? The facts are clear: #1, Bush isn't going to pull out our troops while he is in office. Period. #2, You can't vote against funding the war, because it won't end the war. It will only leave our troops without the things they need to try and survive. It's that simple. Voting for funding of the war is not a stamp of support for the war. It's mandatory support for our soldiers. They're not coming home while Dubya is in office, so how can you leave them there without the proper funding?

The way to judge the stance of the candidates on the war is this, did you support it from the start? Hillary supported the war right up until it became unpopular and she decided she wanted to be president. Obama never supported it. You can't change the facts.
