With increased consumption gas prices will soar! Not to mention it will increase greenhouse gases. This has got to be the dumbest, pandering idea from a politician I have ever heard.

3. It's all about encouraging Americans to spend money
they don't have on driving long distances for what passes for vacation, i.e. drive to a cheesey "amusement" park.

5. Not just consumption but also pollution
which would seem to clash with her long term goal of reducing the effects of global warming, not to mention that she'd now have to divy up the windfall profits tax to go to road infrastructure (parts that the gas tax help pay for now) as well as to help fund those green proposals which was her previous rationale for having the windfall tax.
