"Good guys finish last"? NOT THIS TIME!
Edited on Sun May-04-08 02:01 PM by jenmito
Obama has gone from being about 30 points behind Hillary in every state as well as nationally to winning over 30 states, winning most if not all states he won by double digit margins. HE'S the REAL fighter and has proven it by coming this far ON HIS OWN. Now the media has the NERVE to ask why HE can't "close the deal"? He already has! Hillary and the media just can't face it yet.

2. If Hillary's last name had been Smith, she would have been drummed
out of the race after 11 straight wins by Obama. Everyone knows it. This is just a big charade to appease the Clintons.

3. Just think if it had been
the other way around and Clinton had most of the delegates and numbers of votes and Obama had chosen to stay in and in and in....yoweeeee! It would have been a blood bath for him. But Hillary? Nooooooooooo!

18. Actually,
I don't think it would have been a blood bath.

He would be considered a joke. He would be laughed at, dismissed, and marginalized similar to what happened to other people of color who ran for the office.

29. If HER last name was Smith
SHE wouldn't have been taken seriously anyway. No woman, with any last name, would have been taken seriously.

6. And I really wonder why, if the Repubs. now REALLY want to run against Obama, Faux is running
all their Wright "hits," Hannity is STILL telling Repubs. to vote for Hillary, and ALL of the corporate media is spending hours on Wright coverage this final weekend before IN and NC's primaries.

8. Do you forget when HILLARY was ahead in the Black vote in EVERY poll?
Why are you trying to minimize Obama like that? How many Black voters were there in Iowa? Wisconsin? Colorado? Etc.?

9. Thank you jenmito!
Hillary was holding the Black Vote in the palm of her hand and then she realized she was up against a mighty force... people simply love OBAMA,people of all colors.

Right,I am not aware of any Black voters trying to steal votes from anyone.

I am aware, since THEY(HCBC=1 greedy person throwing the kitchen sink to get elected by any means necessary)started playing with a deck of cards with R in the corner, African Americans have had a difficult time voting in some places. Especially where there are large populations of us.

Maybe it is just a coincidence. :puke:

12. You're VERY welcome...
Yeah. People obviously forget that Obama had to EARN every vote from every race. Hillary had the built-in advantage of her last name, of her political machine, and of her connections (favors owed to her and Bill). BILL was considered "the first Black president" afterall. Obama got where he is now by proving himself, getting people to shift from the "default" candidate to him. He has MORE than earned his position and he had to fight every step of the way.

whereas Geroge W. Bush didn't even need the popular vote to declare a mandate.

19. The MSM sticks their thumb in the pie...
Their need for a "horse race" to fill the airwaves and their pockets adds to a false narrative. Obama suddenly becomes a marginalized "black" candidate. Hillary on the strength of one primary victory suddenly has Joementum. "News" media that is more about media and less about unbiased news reporting manufactures a close race and in the end the Democratic party loses. The truth is - Obama will end the primary season with more delegates than HRC and the Democratic party will have to forcibly take the nomination away from him to give it to HRC. The MSM would LOVE to see that happen - its a great way to fill air time.

I say not this time.

Yes We Can!

Last night I listened to "Nice Guys Finish Last" and was thinking about how that song reminds me of what's been going on with Obama lately. I hope you're right - not this time. Not this year!

30. And he did it running ...
a clean campaign. Thats what I am most proud of him for. Hillary has a whole wheelbarrow full of garbage baggage he could have pulled out and used against her ie: laughing about snipers on Leno, travelgate, filegate, NAFTA lies, WVWV-gate, Bill's dalliances, a list to infinity, but he took the high road. Unfortunately she can't say the same. But he did, and thats why he is smoking the delegates. She can't change the past so her only option from here on out is concede or get nastier and nastier (if one could imagine that) and hope for a miracle or skullduggery. She is running out of time for either.

The sooner this thing is over, the better. Obama still has McCain to beat.

33. Obama isn't a good guy IMO. He's mean-spirited and arrogant. If he was a nice man then he would
treat Hillary with more respect. She has treated him magnanimously, and he has been insulting and condescending towards her. If he's nominated, and if he wants may vote in November, he better take some serious steps to reach out to the rest of the party. And that doesn't mean explaining to us why we were wrong not to support him and giving us a chance to redeem ourselves.

Steve
