Zogby Poll: Obama Expands Lead in NC; Dems Still Biting Nails in Indiana!
Obama enjoys a strong final day of polling before the elections

UTICA, New York—On the strength of good polling numbers on the final day before the primary elections in Indiana and North Carolina, Barack Obama of Illinois holds a convincing lead in North Carolina, but the race is simply too close to call in Indiana, the latest Zogby two-day telephone tracking poll shows.

The pair of surveys of the Democratic presidential contests shows Obama with a significant 14-point lead in North Carolina, winning 51% support to Hillary Clinton’s 37%. Another 12% said they were either favoring someone else or were as yet undecided. In Indiana, the race is clear as mud, as Obama holds a statistically insignificant lead of two points, winning 45% support to Clinton’s 43% support, with 12% either undecided or favoring someone else.

It's obvious we aren't ever going to enjoy a civil exchange. Good luck to you and your candidate.

5. Zogby has been all over the place
Blowing CA in a major way, but nailing TX, PA, MO. We shall see. I don't think Obama wins IN, but he'll take NC. A 14 point margin there would be great.

7. Obama polling well ahead, where even 50/50 virtually ends HRC's chances.
Tomorrow should be a good day, and the beginning of the run to the GE. Or so I hope...another three weeks of the same grind is also possible, and not so bad anyway.

8. Obama will win NC - I'm not touching IN - too much could happen there but...
...I expect it will go Hillary - maybe by a thinner margin though.

OF COURSE I'D LOVE TO BE WRONG about Indiana and see it go to Obama! :)

19. If she wins by under 5 it may turn out to be an overall victory for Obama.
Im think 10-15 supers with any Clinton lead left being removed after the addons come.

12. That is some good news!
Now I doubt Obama will win Indiana but if he keeps it under 5 (Alot easier to do that than in PA) there will likely be a number of supers that will go to him which will cut Clinton super lead to minimum which will be lost after several state conventions give Obama a good deal of addons.

I say Clinton Wins Indiana by under 5 Obama wins NC with slightly over 10 but picks up delegate rich areas meaning he nulls the net delegates Clinton got from PA and could get from Indiana.

16. In fairness to Zogby
His New Hampshire poll had an accurate percentage for Obama. In anycase if his 51 percent call is accurate then Obama wins no matter what.

Maybe he can put this thing to rest if the Supers will act quickly to end this thing.
