Right or wrong on the gas tax.... this has helped Obama enormously....

The past three days have been "gas tax, gas tax, gas tax".

Not Rev. Wright. Not William Ayers.

For that reason alone, this issue worked for Obama.

Throw in the fact that Obama is right on this issue, and it was a homerun for him. But even if you disagree with the previous sentence....

....Hillary did Obama a huge favor bringing this issue up. When the discussion is about ISSUES and not the INDIVIDUALS.... Obama wins.

I'm thinking the environmental component of the gas tax holiday / energy issue will become a bigger deal when the Oregon contest rolls around in two weeks. Lots of "granola crunchers" ...
