So are North Carolina and/or Indiana "Big State"?

Just hoping to get an answer before the results are in. I'm sure Hillary things NC isn't a big state since she is probably not going to win there, but Indiana?

They have 15 and 11 electoral college votes.

In 2010 NC will likeley gain 2 and Indiana will likely lose 1 or 2.

In order to be a big state I think you need 20 electoral college votes.

9. Well, then I guess Michigan isn't a big state (17 electoral votes)

The only big states must be: NY, PA, TX, FL, OH, and IL--and after 2010 census in all probablity OH and IL will be under 20.

I think we can only really have so many "Big" with a capital B states. 5 or 10% sounds reasonable to me.

We are seeing a shifting of the country's population south and west.

By 2020 VA, GA, and NC will have over 20 electoral votes and PA, OH, and IL will be in the 15-19 range.

tied with Georgia and New Jersey with 15 electoral votes so yes, it is considered a "big state".

Being parroted by the MSM. Funny how the Big States are always states Hillary are supposed to win. Even though NC is very big itself...it's not being talked up as such.
