3. My coping mechanism - Computer off, TV off, walk the dog, help little one with homework.
Peek at the headlines before a classic movie lulls me to sleep.

5. Read space opera...
I have a really good science fiction book ready for tonight. I'll probably stay up way too late reading, then get up late and have to bolt to get to work on time. By the time I catch a newscast or log on it'll be done and I can find out without all the attendant angst.

6. Nah, let's go with the sports analogy.....
It's the Kentucky Derby and they're on the homestretch and the filly is fading fast as they head to the wire-and NOW you want us to stop cheering???

Good luck with that.

10. But half the fun is in the friendly jibing and not so friendly stabbing...

I will be enjoying a couple bags of Orville Reddenbacher and a few cool ones tonight watching the returns coming in on DU. It's like a playoff game in the fourth quarter. Even if it means nothing to the world at large, these primaries are far too entertaining to miss.

11. I agree, but there's some psychos here
A little more beer and a little less assholeness would make it so much more entertaining...

14. I was thinking about that this morning.
There's disappointment right around the corner for some folks, if not tonight then soon, and I hope we can rise to the occasion.
