You know what Hillary's Campaign reminds me of...
Joe Lieberman's last desperate Senate campaign...

The desperation, indignation, lack of remorse and complete lack of thought for anyone else in her effort of self preservation.

The fierce urgency of me.

20. you know-
this does probably take the op way off thread, but I've been thinking about this same thing for a few days. ( I'll keep it short-promise~)

I've been watching the Obamas - together- more recently and Michelle Obama is always frowning- ala Condi Rice-- and/or has her arms securely folded in front of her chest, and/or speaks up when questions are asked of Barack. More examples, but I promised to be brief!

This leads me to the opinion that Michelle Obama IS an angry woman- she might have many reasons for this, but I wonder how that anger would be compared to the anger of McCain- which has already been discussed. Which one would play out in the White House?

For this and other more realistic reasons, I'm hoping more and more for another Clinton White House.

Just my opinion.

nowhere did I mention 'angry BLACK woman'. I compared her 'look' to the angry, frowning look of condi rice, because it compares well.

I have no problem with 'angry black women', I just see 'angry' woman in Michelle Obama.

You had no response to the consistent crossing of the arms--check it out in pictures, tv appearances and youtubes. It's there for anyone choosing to read something into 'body language'.

Please don't read something into my post that is not there.

I see someone that looks out thoughtfully, actually listening and taking in what others say to her. I have similar gestures, and I wouldn't call it angry in the least. It's nice having an intelligent person thinking and responding vs. someone like pickles or Clinton with their botox smiles saying flippant things, like 'obliterate' - as if it's an everyday term we use in this country.

64. Here's the deal MonkeyFunk,
you keep accusing all the other posters here of lying.

You've done it in this thread. You are projecting your own dishonesty onto others. Just look at the example in this thread.

According to you, Clinton never said McCain was more experienced than Obama, and that a bunch of liars made it all up.

Somewhere down deep inside you know it's true, she really said it, and you've seen the video. Still you question others' honesty.

Take a good look at yourself. You just keep throwing that liar accusation around way too frequently.

Either everyone except you is a liar, or you are the classic example of clinical projection. I think you know you are being dishonest.

Geez, this is getting so boring.

The facts have been very clear since Super Tuesday. She can't catch up, barring
any unforeseen Obama earthquakes.

12. apples & oranges
Primaries and the GE are two different situations. What Hillary is doing is damaging the Democratic party, and on several occasions, she has deliberately complimented McLoon at Obama's expense.

The DLC'ers did the same to Howard Dean in 2003-04 and that was sickening enough, but at least it was before the math spelled out who the clear nominee was.

39. It's one thing to challenge a Democratic opponent on policies
That's the purpose of the primary. But to say the Republican is BETTER than your Democratic rival, especially at a point in the race where any reasonable estimate of the numbers says he will be the nominee.... that is complete bullshit. You know it, and Hillary knows it. And that is what threatens to tear apart the Democratic party.

That's like handing McLoon a loaded gun to use in the GE.

33. "lack of remorse?" Wow...the self-righteousness is unbelievable. Candidates run campaigns.
Some win and some lose. Remorse has nothing to do with it. I could just as easily say Obama lacks remorse. Ironically, it is the winner who will have to express remorse for a bunch of things in order to reunify the party. And it is absurd to say that Hillary lacks thoughts for anyone else, when so many voters are chosing her because they feel she cares for them.

Isn't it possible that a few decent people out there simply prefer another candidate?

Steve
