Score one for Zogby: double digit win for Obama in NC (still "too early to call" Indiana)
Edited on Tue May-06-08 06:38 PM by book_worm
update: I think that Zogby was the only pollster to call double-digit victory in NC for Obama. Russert just described NC as a "substantial" victory for Obama.

Hillary will probably take Inidiana. If it were "too close to call" it would mean key precients and exit polls indicate a close race. PA was "too early to call" too, and she ended up winning by 9.2, but I think she will do no better than five points in Indiana.

1. I thought PA was initially too close to call
So that means Indiana is worse than PA

4. "The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling!"
Do you ever look on the bright side?

Or just wait for something concrete before predicting the worst?

20. In PA, MSNBC was "too close to call" and then switched to "too early to call" after about 30 minutes
I take it to mean signs look good for a Hillary victory, sadly. CNN is using too early to call as well tonight...I don't remember what they did in PA.

3. too close to call means too close to call--PERIOD
Hillary is expected to win, but I bet the new ID law affected a larger number of older voters than younger ones.

As my mom used to say, "wait and see pudding"!

It was a nun working the polls that turned them away.

9. These first precincts are the small rural ones. These are lopsided boxes.
In fact, the numbers AREN'T bad for Obama. They'll be made up.

10. Indiana is a pretty evenly distributed state in terms of population.
It would take crushing margins out of Marion and Lake Counties.
