Poll question: Do you expect Dean will launch stronger attack on McCain than McAuliffe did on Bush in 2004?
I know I do. McAuliffe always came off as a buffoon on TV as if it was all just a game to him. In 2004, it probably was just a game to Hillary2008.

7. Yep - and that's why I created this post.
I am sick of the attacks on good Dems just because Clintons and her soperatives have been so dominant in the corpmedia for so many years.

4. McAuliffe revised history claiming himsel as the strong link in 2004. Always looked a jerk to me

and I am quite sure he came of like that on any news program he popped up on - and his DNC ads were LAME as can be in 2002 and 2004.

What a difference a party chair makes when they have FOUR YEARS to establish the party's election strategy.

9. Hell YES.
McAuliffe was in the clinton's pocket even then. Like Clinton, McAuliffe had his eye on 2008.

16. Yes - I hope more people wake up to what TeamClinton was really about throughout that time
as all of the Dem candidates and activists were working our asses off to stop Bush in 2000 and get rid of him in 2004.

10. Yes. He's got nothing to gain by playing nice with the GOP
He's got everything to gain with a big win!

11. Dean's pugnacious.
I like that. I think he'll be far stronger against the GOP than McAullife.

12. I do, too. People forget that the role of the party leader is to take on the fights while nominee
appeals to the public as a presidential figure.

15. Clinton's team of loyalists were definitely OVERSOLD to the Dem party and voters all this time.
Imagine this crowd trying to defeat Bush and Rove at the peak of their power.

17. Without a doubt. Dean deals with incontrovertible facts......
along with specific dates, stats, numbers and examples of lies and flipflops from the other side. He makes the talking heads EXPLODE.

I LOVE HOWARD DEAN.
