5. There's no good reason
That anyone can come up with. The entire rest of the state is in, Hammond mayor says turned in results by 7:30. Yet none of the numbers have been released from Hammond. IT'S WEIRD. If this was happening to whittle an Obama lead, people here would be screaming about it.

6. Probably voter fraud
It won't make a difference because she's done either way, but I don't like what I'm seeing from Gary's mayor.

9. I was poll watcher in Hammond for Obama
and I don't know why there's a delay on releasing more numbers.

At least at my polling place, voting was all electronic. At 6pm, the judges basically hit a few buttons and the totals came out. They would have been at the board by 7:30.

You may have to count absentees (which includes early voters) by hand, but today's vote totals should be IN.

Why not release them in a timely fashion, Mayor of Gary/Election board bigwig? Unless you're into dramatics and want the spotlight? At the cost of the candidate you claim to support?

Pissing me off.

My two precincts (Lake County) went 121 Obama, 80 Hillary, by the way.

Pretty diverse area--white, black, hispanic. Low-income.

10. Got to be the precincts counting and counting again,
we had to do that too. Any time the turnout is crazy huge, it's tough, but so great!

11. Get the feeling
We won't see any new vote numbers until the sun rises. I haven't seen an update to the numbers for quite some time.
