5. Roughly 22,000 votes...pretty slim. Still a victory for him, just about
any way you look at it.

12. I agree
The winning vote total was too small to save Hillary

Indiana will go Repub in the fall anyway

Thanks to all those who worked so hard for both Hillary and Obama. I hope all that energy will go toward victory in November

14. Rachel is correct - Hillary is continuing her "post rational approach" to win the Nomination.
I'm so sick of HRC ... why can't the superdelegates END THIS?!?

Clinton won by 2 points that is more than enough for the supers to give Obama the super lead

19. I believe the term is "won"
Edited on Wed May-07-08 12:15 AM by BlueDogDemocratNH
In the same sense that the British "won" the Battle of Bunker Hill.

22. But the media now questions why they should take her seriously as a candidate.
Her PA gains have been overturned. She cannot be the nominee.

24. Bingo! The media tonight discovered that this thing really is drawing to a close.
At this point Clinton will stay in till June (Party making a deal for the supers to hold off from completely swamping Obama with supers) so that Obama stands no chance of losing states as the only active candidate.

Yet overall the 22 thousand difference is extremely bad news for Clinton.

26. I believe Jeffrey, Wolf, John, and Anderson saved it for Hillary!
Their insistence that withholding the vote was screwy scared the mayor from Gary and he pushed in some accurate votes at the end to prevent an investigation into his shenanigans. I've never seen anything like it.

It started with Jeffrey Toobin out and out calling it very questionable behavior and obvious. With this remark by their legal advisor, so to speak, Wolf, John and Anderson went to town. It was literally too hot for them to withhold any more votes for Hillary.

I don't often feel that talking heads are brave, but this was heroic considering how much the media panders to who pays them. I was in tears. I could see victory being stolen from her, after all the hard work she, her family, and us, her supporters have done, and I was aghast.

I still believe that where possible a recount should be done, because I believe SUSA's polls were correct. Hillary had votes taken from her tonight, and it was very obvious.

all polling companies for accuracy. You can google it, if you like. SUSA is good.
