Last night 2 very different Coverage on CNN/MSNBC
I was flipping back and forth late last night and MSNBC was pretty much saying its over. Its the beginning of the end type of coverage.

CNN on the other hand was saying the race goes on. Good night for Obama but there is no end in sight.

What the hell gives?

Im listening to CNN on Sirius now and they make it sounds like its still a horse race. Maybe Im missing something. Didnt Obama just have a great night last night? CNN is wording everything in Hillary's favor. Im lost

3. Every on on CNN last night looked like they were about to cry.
They worked so hard for their queen, so sad.

4. CNN (and MSNBC) both have gotten big ratings running the election horse race
analysis everynight. They don't want that to end. Obama and Clinton fire people up (for better or worse). McCain puts them to sleep.

10. But CNN will be for McCain over Hillary
in the extremely unlikely event Hillary is either the presidential or vice-presidential candidate.

CNN is Republican in a Dem-Repub contest. Just think back to 2004.

6. The media loves drama
Having a drawn-out battle is very good for them. They don't care about "just the facts," they want intrigue. It goes back to the days of William Randolph Hearst, who said, "You supply the pictures, I'll supply the war."

13. Wolf Blitzer LOVES primary season and wishes it would NEVER end.
Wolf hates it when Jack Cafferty makes the case that Obama is certain to be the nominee.

21. I turned on CNN at the beginning of the coverage, just when they
were getting some of the exit polls. Wolf went over the percentage of Obama and Clinton supporters who would vote for McCain in the Fall, and said "You know that the Republicans looovvvveee those numbers." It's so creepy hearing him say it in that monotone serial killer voice. Is Wolf a repuke?

I was off of CNN until the end of the night, because I wanted to see how they were going to spin the Indiana "too close to call" thing. They looked nervous as hell, especially Anderson! Finally, when it called for Hillary, I swear the on screen text was triple the size it usually is "Clinton wins Indiana!" Yeah, close call guys. Whew.

14. MSNBC is the practically only network that tells you the elected race is over.
2/3 of superdelegates have already endorsed; they've split right down the middle, and heavily for Obama lately, and I don't think the public realizes this.

Hillary needs impossible 90% victories to close the elected delegates gap.

I noticed that too
Honestly, I was really suprised that MSNBC was declaring it over. I had braced myself for the worst and was afraid they'd be saying it was the beginning of the end for Obama even. I was surprised to see MSNBC consider Obama's victory in North Carolina and better than expected showing in Indiana a knock-out punch, and it feels a little premature. I am excited but I'm still a little stunned, and somehow I am not ready to celebrate just yet.

17. Fox says it's over for her too and they are huge HRC fans.
They all looked like someone had died. I haven't seen that group that dour since Huckabee & Romney dropped out.

CNN has all those Clinton cronies on staff. Of course they are going to keep saying she can still win. NO ONE ELSE is saying that in the media but them. They are as delusional as she and her Hillbots are.

23. Did you see Mika and Joe talking about the impact of
Hillary's gas tax holiday plan? I was surprised that Joe said Hillary yet again got the late deciders. He then said something like "So she was able to sell them on that horrible plan." Mika then turned to him, a little shocked, and said "You were saying that it was a good idea yesterday!" and Joe ACTUALLY SAID "Yeah, I had to say that before the primary. You know, to show some perspective." What a dick! But not surprising.

19. Frank Cesno on CNN not too long ago: "But its the Clintons! They can not be stopped!" Whatever.
Its over. Even Joe Scarface who was kissing Hill's ass for weeks says its over. Its obvious. Now we just have a few more tortuous weeks until we can start laying into McGrumpster.

about supporting their own f'in candidate instead of worrying about ours?

They should be talking about how mcCain is instead of this.

27. It was fun watching Donna Brazil kicking butt though
Only get CNN as it costs extra to get Fox or MSNBC...which is why CNN is the "MOST WATCHED" network. You guys come with the more basic package and are cheap.

However, I thought they were pretty good on Obama side. They pointed out many times that there was no way Hillary could win based on the math without a major pull of the Super Delegates.

Plus I loved Donna kicking Lenny's butt. That alone was worth watching CNN.
