1. Technically, inciting a riot is illegal, but the FCC has the discretion to decide.
If they decide not to prosecute, it might have something to do with who runs the executive branch of government.

10. Probably has a LOT to do with who runs the exec branch. I KNOW some people reported
Limpball's riot incitement. Guess the FCC just laughed it off.

2. I think it's horrible...
isn't there a law about calling for massive voter fraud? If it can be show that he really had an effect, I think alot of states are going to have to look at how many times in a year you can switch your party affiliation or something.

4. Indeed
Anyone advocating the kind of shenanigans Oxylimpballs has should be prosecuted. It makes a mockery of the vote.

3. Some right wing guy called in to Thom Hartmann today and was yelling.
"Yes there will, there will be riots!!!" he screamed as Thom Hartmann was debating Rush with this guy.

Living in Minneapolis (RNC COnvention coming soon) guys like this are more of a threat to me than any terrorist. These are American terrorists being groomed by the most listened too talk radio in the Country.

It's a threat!

Soooo since they believe so STRONGLY that there will be riots, will the cause them?

Aren't they against terrorism?

11. Blood in the streets just because the convention is there? How would that play if
radio hosts called for the same thing over the GOP??

12. Rush is WHITE! So what Rush says or does doesn't matter. What would happen if...
Edited on Wed May-07-08 07:37 PM by Triana
... a BLACK radio host incited riots at the Repug convention and interfered with the primary voting process?

Hmmm?

HOW MANY MILLISECONDS before the FCC would have him in PRISON?

8. Rush's latest antics fall under the broad definition of
"terrorism". He should go to Gitmo asap. Even with a dem majority this asshat gets away with whatever he wants.... surely the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

9. No, it's no legal, but be's a Republican breaking the law under
a republican administration. That's how he is getting by with it. Too bad we don't have a Democrat in the White House. Maybe then, we could get some justice.
