Theoretical Question for both Hillary and Barack supporters -
One of the candidates has either withdrawn from the race or the convention has spoken. It's the next day, your candidate is standing there with the official nominee. They make an heartfelt and honest appeal for their supporters to move to the camp of the nominee with all the fever and enthusiasm you have shown for them.

So what are you going to do?

- support the nominee?

- stay home and pout on election day?

- vote for the Rethuglican McSame or some other meaningless
choice that will in reality help the Rethuglican get elected,
finally destroying this country?

(yeah, that last one is loaded, but it's my opinion and my question.. deal with it)

1. I'll vote for the nominee, but my activism level is yet to be determined
Will I donate, volunteer and phone bank? We'll see.

3. Relax.
This is just the postmortem drama unfolding. DU is full of intelligent people who are really really enthusiastic about politics, so we get all the GD-P madness. Reasoning just pisses off pissed-off people even more. Took 6 years of marriage before I figured that one out.

8. I will think carefully about it for a few days,
then find some snarky post on DU that *really* pisses me off and make a sound judgement based on that.
