The Honest Truth About the Modern Republican Party.

They have been taken over by radical, right-wing propagandists who believe they can always win elections with propaganda and negative attacks. It has worked very well for them since the first Ronald Reagan presidency. They have no faith in government of any sort. They would prefer to drown it in a bathtub, as Grover Norquist once said.

They brainwash their followers with propaganda on abortion, school prayer, strong military, low taxes, balanced budgets, etc. However, when in power, they do the exact opposite. And their brainwashed followers never seem to learn?

In the most basic sense, they are liars. They manipulate people with promises of good government and lower taxes, at the same time they transfer massive amounts of wealth to the richest in our society, such as Big Business and Big Oil. Greed is the purpose of their existence. And it always comes back to bite the American people in the ass.

If it were possible to expose their lies and propaganda, they would no longer exist as a political Party. PT Barnum would have been comfortable with these scalawags. Because, indeed, there is a sucker born every minute.

They never make us safer. They don't make us more wealthy. They never pass school prayer legislation or anti-abortion laws. They never balance the budget. They always leave us holding the bag. And it shall be thus until the divisive Republican propaganda is defeated and buried.

It's true they want to drown government in a bathtub, but they also want to loot it.

The folks need to know who the real enemy is that we will be fighting in November. They have absolutely nothing to run on. They have us bogged down in two wars, they have destroyed our economy, they have shrunk the dollar to the point where you need a microscope to see it, they have run us so far into debt that it is not even comprehensible. And they want us to bend over so they can sock it to us one more time. There comes a time when we have to say that if people are so ignorant and gullible, they deserve exactly what they get.

and think they can just make it work, because they think we are a bunch of dumb-shits.

Believe me, I've worked around their social things, for private schools; you should hear what they think of "the help".

The modern Republican Party is a fascist entity that serves to finance the military-industrial complex through unjustified wars against created enemies while simultaneously defunding the federal government through large tax breaks and subsidies to corporations and de-employing the workers through job outsourcing under the rubric of "free trade" while distracting the mass population through jingoism and promoting materialism.

Republicans don't really believe in "small government." To Republicans, "small government" is a code-word for destroying social services. The Republicans actually believe in much bigger government than Democrats do. But their idea of big government is massive spending on armaments and corporate subsidies financed by foreign debt.

why following Democrats that want to pursue the "Republican Lite" strategy is a loser for most of us Democratic voters.

Can anyone guess what type of race they will run against Obama? Nothing but rumors, innuendo, gossip, character assassination, and lies. Just like they did against John Kerry in 2004. Just like they did against Al Gore in 2000. Because they have nothing. Zilch.

But they have perfected it with talk radio and right-wing attack groups, unlike any time before.

They frame the Democratics as immoral, unrighteous people who demand instant gratification while they , themselves, are good and pious. Every so often, there is a moment of uneasiness when one of them gets caught, say, buggering a little boy, but before long, they manage to block the evil action from their minds.
