I'm going to be brutally honest.
After the way this campaign has gone, I really don't see the appeal of Hillary Clinton. I really want to know what she is doing and what her game is now. Is it to be Vice President or destroy our chances so she can run in in four years? My autistic son has watched his enemies assume the Supreme Court after a court that was already watering down his equal protections under the law. So it's personal with me because it has to be.

40. No, they would make sure he got elected
Clinton has been under the microscope for decades... many have tried and none have succeeded in bringing her or Bill down... the blow job was nothing, Bill screwed himself when he lied.

I think "they" are making sure he gets elected so they have a target for the alleged bomb.

41. Jesus... are you so shallow that you cannot fathom a big picture at all?
This is about focusing on the enemy. This is about the dirty tricks the GOP has up their collective sleeve. Your perspective is truly fucked up, in my opinion and from my perspective. All you can see is someone who might do harm to your sainted choice. You do your candidate no good whatsoever. He doesn't need that kind of twisted support.

All I'm saying is remember this conversation... this won't hit until things get really dirty between McCain and Obama, and way after the Dem convention and the proclaiming of a nominee.

But at least we are both Democrats, supporting Democrats.

Just remember the enemy is McCain.

If Obama wins this he will win after proving he is tough enough to fight. If you think this fight was tough it is nothing compared to what is going to hit him if he gets the Nom.

Be thankful we will have a candidate who can fight hard.

...people with bad ideas who fought hard.

Her policies are bad for the country and her behavior is offensive.

I could care less how hard a warmongering corporatist fights.

Behaving like a dignified, gracious wise person is just as important as being a "fighter."

If you're a fighter without those things--that's called reckless. And selfish.

She's hanging in there hoping for more contributions to make-up for her losses. Be assured, she won't be making any more "loans" (or whatever they really are) to herself!

14. Stop it! Hillary cannot "destroy our chances to win the GE"
The Dems have lost the last two GEs without having to blame it on Hillary. Grow up! We need Hillary's supporters to win in Nov. The obnoxious tones that Obama supporters use against anyone who does not support Obama will not help the Dems unify and win in November. Just chill and let the primary play out without baiting on hate.

20. Honest question:
What rulings have the Supreme Court issued recently that affect your autistic son? Not trying to be a smartass, but I guess I'm a little bit in the dark about this issue. I know that there's been a greater push in the media for autistic awareness and perhaps for legislation as well.

26. There have been some cases with the Rehnquist court
concerning disability rights and employment. The basic rendering was that the disabled person has access to the courts but they can be discriminated against in employment without receiving remedy or back pay (a case with a plaintiff against a state). This new court forming (Roberts) most likely will take any teeth left out in the Americans with Disabilities Act or IDEA (education).

37. Are you sure?
I have a hard time believing that, but maybe I'm just a naive optimist. I couldn't imagine Congress standing by and watching that happen and not immediately passing some kind of law to circumvent a Supreme Court ruling like that even if it happened. I think that most people in society look down upon people with disabilities. Remember the outrage over the WalMart health care case?

I fought for 20 years with many others to get these rights. Where's the bullshit? I want to know what her game is whether it's to divide and cripple, whether she can realistically win without doing damage to the process, or to put pressure on for consideration of the VP spot. This may be just politics but it's still playing with people's quality of life.

30. The brutal part is......
.......that you are accusing one of OUR candidates of trying to undermine the party's shot at the whitehouse. I really wouldn't call it brutal, because it falls more under the category of ignorant. Clinton is every bit as much a democrat as any other candidate and she is doing what she feels obligated to do for those who are supporting her. The fools here that think she is somehow trying to tear down Obama for 2012 don't have a clue. Of course, we could have said the same about Obama some months back, but we didn't, because it was not true.

Once we have a nominee, Hillary and Bill will work hard to get him elected, if it is not her. They are democrats. It's what they do! One can see why so many have said they will not vote for Obama, it's the idiots trying to spread sheer lies that are very offensive in nature. Every time I see a post like this, I shake my head in disgust. People are doing exactly what they are accusing Clinton of, tearing apart the party.

I call em like I see em, and this one aint hard to see!

34. I was asking a question.
Pushing for super delegates to overthrow pledged delegates (which this is what it will come down to) isn't a regular or normal strategy most of the time. Under such circumstances, I have every right as a voter, a delegate, and a citizen to ask questions. The stakes are high for many people.

"or destroy our chances so she can run in in four years?"

Sorry, but you clearly questioned her loyalty to the party by making that part of your question. You obviously have your doubts, so why don't you own it? You wanna know why some won't vote for Obama? Some people may be swayed by people like yourself, and that is not helping Obama or the democratic party. Try working for OUR side instead of against it.

She actually seems to think she can pull it out.

If I were Hillary, after NC/IN I would have immediately switched into "goodwill tour," hitting the remaining campaign stops but with a completely different attitude about it. She could drag the concession out but let people know that was the intent. That way she salvages her career, her future, her legacy (at least in some peoples' eyes...)and stops the infighting.

It's called "truce."

43. I want to know, too, mmonk
What's in it for her at this point? Why is she so desperate to take down Obama? How selfish is that? I have heard the ponderings that she wants to destroy Obama's chances in the GE, get McCain elected, so that she can come in in 2012 and run against the old man. But, to believe that, one also has to believe that she puts herself above the party and the nation. Is that really what is going on here? Can a person really be that selfish? I wish I knew. I'm alsways giving her the benefit of the doubt -- to be fair and all. But, if this is her game plan, she is one scary, selfish woman.
