Poll question: What to do now? Clinton supporters particularly welcome
This board is in flux. I'm getting different senses of the situation from different posters. Some seem to think Obama and Clinton are still at total war. Others of us think the war is many times over.
They should work like hell to get Obama elected. Focus on the issues, fund the campaign, and send good thoughts that Hill will realize the damage she is doing to the country and call this thing already.
10. I have never considered them to be unwelcome (by me)
While I've let slip a crude joke about Hillary now and then, I've tried to be respectful all along and on a couple of occasions, even have stepped up to defend Hillary against what I thought to be unfair attacks.
19. Actually I have reached out to two folks who are...uh....
more than simple hillary supporters.
Too soon to tell what the outcome will be.
Sooner or later it'll be worked out. Sooner I hope.
I still reserve the rigjt to ridicule certain "candidates" who might resort to racism, class-ism, or the kitchen sink to steal a presidential election...
20. I cleared my ignore list out the other day and gave everyone a clean slate
As of right now, 5 of those people are back on the ignore list. It seems they just aren't ready to give up the division and hate tactics. I'm done with "reaching out" to that particular element.
But I have always drawn the distinction between Clinton supporters and Hillbots. And I welcome the Clinton supporters and (to borrow a phrase from their hero) "feel their pain". I was a Deaniac in 2004 and though I don't agree that Hillary got a raw deal, I do know what it's like to feel that way. :grouphug:
