Sunday’s Breakfast Menu, May 11

Senator Barack Obama appears on CNN’s “Late Edition,” while Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s top advisers are making the rounds this Sunday, presumably to assure Democrats that she’s still “in it to win it.”

Her chairman, Terry McAulifffe, is on NBC’s “Meet the Press” and CBS’s “Face the Nation.” John Edwards, the former Democratic contender who is officially neutral, is also on Bob Schieffer’s show. Listen closely to his pronoun usage.

Another former Democratic competitor, Senator Christopher J. Dodd, is on “Meet the Press” in support of Senator Barack Obama.

“Fox News Sunday” has Howard Wolfson, Mrs. Clinton’s top spokesman, and David Axelrod, the chief Obama strategist.

Senator Harry Reid promotes his book on ABC’s “This Week,” and Carly Fiorina promotes Senator John McCain (she is, after all, one of his top economic advisers).

We hear from the other chamber of Congress on CNN’s “Late Edition.” Representative Roy Blunt, the minority whip, is set to counter Representative Chris Van Hollen, who is charged with helping Democrats expand their majority has head of the House Democrats’ campaign committee. Wolf Blitzer also looks at Iraq with retired Gen. Ricardo Sanchez and Samir Sumaidaie, the Iraqi ambassador to the United States.

2. Your Mom.
She's angry you didn't send her a card this year.

4. Better than my mom...
She's upset with the flowers I sent her today :eyes:

Note for the future: Despite seeing your mother wear a beautiful corsage every mothers day for as long as you can remember - she doesn't like them. It doesn't matter that she's still getting probably the most beautiful gift ever (gorgeous cherry wood, handmade prairie style triple picture frame that my DH has been working on for a month) - the fact that you bought her a corsage has most certainly made her mother's day horrible.

Parents, the gift that keeps on giving.
