Extra NY, NJ & DC security costs should come out of chimp campaign fund

As a taxpayer and inconvenienced New Yorker, I believe that any extra security costs stemming from the new terra alert should come directly out of the RNC campaign fund since this is sooo obviously a campaign tactic.

Also, listening to Seterius Johnson (sp?) on WNYC (local NPR affiliate) this morning saying the big concern of the Queens council is lack of security at the US Open, which will be occuring the same week as the RNC. Too many cops drained toward the convention leaves the Open and Shea stadium and power stations vulnerable.

and I'm wondering.

All of the detail about this being released, the buildings, truck
bombs, guard schedules, ramp angles and truck height for driving
a truck into the garage, estimates on structural damage...

and it all sounds really OLD. This sounds like the first attack
on the WTC, which failed to yield the type of results Al Qaeda
wanted.

So I wondering if they found some shit on the laptop, related to
the old NY cell (Raman?) and are trotting it out now... remember
that another general "terra" alert would be instantly discredited
(and has been) and the newsies are starting to (finally) smell
a rat. So they release this crap for attacks planned 10 years
ago and hope because it has all of this DETAIL it will be taken
more seriously (so far, in looking at the news this a.m., it's
working). Anyway, this sounds like old plans that were already
executed! (I'm just wondering if they are leaving out the part
of the plan that adds WTC to the list of possible targets!).

Not that I would believe the Bushistas capable of this kind of
manipulative attack. (heavy sarcasm).
