Can you please explain why the "Right Now" spash screen animation contains an image of presidental candidate John McCain and only John McCain?

Is FOX 5 endorsing John McCain? If not, why is McCain's image used? He is not a senator from the area that FOX 5 covers. Why isn't a local government official used?
