Even when Hillary wins it still not a good night for her and Supporters
MS 01 is a devastating lost for her campaign just like the LA congressional race, this is even worse. they went after childers hard by tying him to Obama. It didn't work, Obama has long coattails. And please believe that Hill wishes she could play the coattails card against Obama, just think if in both MS and LA the republican won by succesfully running against Obama, you don't think she would play that up? So don't kid yourself these congressional races were also against Obama and Obam won,
So even when he loses he wins and even when Hillary wins she loses

as I am typing this I feel sorry for Clinton as I watch MSNBC and Pat Bucchannan is her biggest supporter

23. the only problem with underestimating Obama here
is that they went after Childers by associating him with Obama.

25. Think about it. For the past few months Obama has been the face of the Democratic party.
If the election was six months ago, they'd be associating him with Clinton's cackle, Kerry's droning or Dean's scream. It's an old tactic. The bottom line is they were calling him a liberal Democrat in Mississippi. It is heartening it didn't work. But I think the long-term problem is overestimating Obama, not underestimating him.

16. Who is bitter
I congratulate Hillary on gaining the most net delegates she has ever gained in one night this entire nomination phase. I congratulate her on actually surpassing the rate of delegate pickups she needs for the first time. I congratulate her on only taking 5 months to do so.

I also congratulate you on your feigned outrage of nonexistent nail-biting by Obama supporters.

4. Pat
Tucker Carlson, Rush Limbaugh, etc. the republicans want this to go on, and on, and on...! The longer this lasts the more McCain can get out and say things with nobody from the democrats to go after him. I keep hearing from this same crowd of republicans that Hillary "should" be the VP, that Oama will need her to win! Yep, sure guys, if you say so it must be true, I mean would they lie to us just to get her on the ticket so they can rally their base? :sarcasm:

14. From Politico
Democrat wins in Mississippi

The AP calls a tight race for Democrat Travis Childers in Mississippi, a win for the DCCC and a symbolic win for Obama, the GOP bogeyman of choice in the conservative Mississippi district, and a very bad sign for House Republicans

No, sorry, that was you and your fellow Obama supporters.

If Obama's the nominee, McCain's president.

If Clinton's the nominee, Clinton's president.

Nice try at arguing he won when he had his ass handed to him tonight.

34. LOL. Not a victory for Obama, because Travis Childers distanced himself from Obama.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0408/Childers_distances_himself_from_Obama.html

If Childers had accepted Obama's endorsement, then maybe you'd have something.

But Childers distanced himself from Obama.

Childers' election was a repudiation of the Bush administration and Greg Davis' racism.
