It's disgusting how the black vote is taken for granted
I'm so angry about how some people think that in the unlikely and unjust scenario that Obama is denied the nomination despite leading in every significant category because the Democratic Party feels the need to pander to the most racist demographic in America, blacks will still come out in droves to support Hillary. Just imagine the reverse scenario: a white candidate is ahead in every metric but the black candidate is given the nomination because of black special interests. Then you'd have the Geraldine Ferraros and Sean Hannitys of the country crying, "affirmative action!" You'd probably see riots like those in Boston during the busing years. But if blacks were done wrong in this case? Hell, they should just suck it up and be damn grateful that there's a party that gives at least some damn about them.

For your information, I'm not black. But in the very unlikely scenario that Hillary wins the nomination due to hardcore racists in West Virginia or rural Pennsylvania, I wouldn't blame any black for sitting out the election.

1. Let me tell ya, it won't be just the AA's standing alone against Hillary...
if she were to somehow steal the nomination. There would be some very outraged whites, hispanics, and others pissed as well.

2. it's interesting to think that
in most states Hillary is still getting about 10% or more of the "black vote". and in most states she doesn't quite win by 10% (ok, except PA, OH, and WV)...so actually her "black vote" is pushing her across the finish line.

why do we have to count "black vote" , "white vote", "catholic vote" "college educated vote" etc....is anyone else tired of this?

3. She is not going to steal the nomination.
And a lot of us - blacks, whites, hispanics, the entire rainbow of progressive americans, have no place to go with our votes except our fucked up compromised Democratic Party. We get taken for granted every election year, and the last time anyone tried to do anything remotely serious about it we got Bush, 9-11, Iraq, Katrina, Gitmo, Abu Ghraib, The UnPatriot Act, plus the fucknutz raided the treasury and wrecked the economy. Deal with it, it's been this way all my life. One time, one presidential election, I had the opportunity to vote for an actual progressive Democratic presidential candidate, and he got clobbered by Nixon.

4. they shouldn't take it for granted. Seriously a motivated black vote could turn some red states

Think Georgia, Florida, Missouri, NC, VA, and Colorado. An excited and motivated black vote in these states are Republicans worst nightmare.

After this election, it will never be taken for granted again

6. I've been pissed about this all along. They talk as though
black people will flock to Hillary.

Not this time.
