Can anyone remember whether pollsters asked in other
Primary Elections if supporters of the losing candidate would support the winning opponent. I can't recall this type of metric in previous hard campaigns. Without a historical statistic to compare the current numbers with it is hard to tell whether the divide this year is a major concern particular to this race or is a normal reaction to intense competition.

4.  This campaign has been the worst I have ever seen for media
intrusion into key elements of the race. From MSNBC's locker room joviality in dissing Hillary to ABC's pathetic effort to bring down Obama, the reportage has taken second place to active participation by the corporate media in determining who gets the nomination. I am strong for Obama but I think that this rush to push Hillary out of the race is disgraceful. I hope Barack and McCain work out a debate format that allows them to go at each other without involving the chattering class.

5. this is my conspiracy theory
I think Obama's got a secret Mickey Mouse Club handshake going with the Nuclear Power folks...

And that explains why MSNBC pundits are giving him such an easier ride

Then again, in contrast, CNN looks like Fox News... it's extremely imbalanced

Although ALL War Profiteers... CNN, think energy transnationals... MSNBC, think Nuclear Power

3. People always say that.
Until a few weeks after their candidate drops out.
