I think many in that state support Clinton, and they were loving McAuliffe's speech.....until he said that Hillary was leading in the popular vote. Oooops...that did not go over well.

What angers me is the fact that they are lying. Historicall, one of the big differences between us and the GOP is we - the Democrats - believe in the truth. Let the facts speak for themselves. To see a Democratic candidate and the Democratic supporters of that candidate outright fabricate or stretch the truth is disheartening, and goes against what was once a strong Democratic virtue.

How can we trust a president to be honest and forthright if they practice deception beforehand? We can't. Compare the 2000 and 2004 campaigns against the horrible reality we've been living in.

How can the world, who are watching this election cycle, trust America when they see how a leader deceives the voters? If they are intellectually dishonest to Americans, how would a world leader view and place trust in their words?

Twisting numbers and trying to confuse people into believing something that is not true is so repugnant. I never thought our party would allow this to happen.

There are a lot of VERY good Democrats who are active in the DLC. Janet Napolitano, Kathleen Sebelius, and soon-to-be-governor of Delaware Jack Markell are three that come readily to mind. They fight like hell for their constituents and for the best values of the Democratic Party. This silly notion that the DLC is a massive conspiracy is downright ludicrous to those of us who have actually participated in DLC conferences and workshops.

Including both MI and FL, Obama has 16,680,827 or 47.6% while Clinton has 16,710,298 or 47.7%.

That excludes IA,WA, ME,and NV. estimates added to the total = 17,014,911 for Obama and 16,934,160 for Clinton.

That also assumes that caucus representation equates to primary representation.

So, even using the invalid yard stick, including invalid elections while doing so, Obama still leads by over 80,000.

He either KNOWS he is lying or he is one that would prefer to CHEAT and think he can get away with it.

The only way I can figure to get Hillary ahead is to count just the primaries, including MI and FL, and then count ONLY states(leave out DC's votes). And probably leaving out the empty primaries(WA, NE, ID) as well. You have to leave out DC, because if you count all the primaries, no caucuses, Obama is still 63k ahead.

DC is worth 63k lead on its own for obama, DA 7k, NE 3k, WA 13k. All Primaries, but ones that are left out to give Hillary a supposed lead.

They are counting MI and FL for Hillary. Their New Math is amazing.

Hillary's camp is leaving out those no-popular-vote caucus states (which Obama won), and she is counting MI and FL (incl. the early voting, which was done in December 2007, I think...before many people even knew who Obama was).

I haven't checked her "math," and I don't know anyone else who has (except Rove, if that tells you anything). It can't really be counted, because all the states simply do not report a "popular vote" count.
