Final Oregon PPP Poll:Obama-58%/Clinton-39%
Senator Obama is headed towards a overwhelming victory in Oregon. This might be enough to deprive Senator Clinton of ANY popular vote metric, which is great.

58-39. Could translate to 60-40 with high turnout awesome.

Raleigh, N.C. – Barack Obama is likely to win an overwhelming victory in Oregon,
according to Public Policy Polling’s final survey in the state. He leads Hillary Clinton
58-39.

Obama has likely pretty much won the election already. Oregon votes by mail, and he is
polling at 59% with the 74% of poll respondents who reported already having cast their
ballots.

“Oregon is shaping up as a similar state to Wisconsin for Obama,” said Dean Debnam,
President of Public Policy Polling. “He started out with a small lead there, then built it
into the upper double figures as election day came nearer. Anything other than a double
digit victory for him would be a surprise, and a disappointment for his campaign.”
Obama leads with female voters in the state, which makes it nearly impossible for
Clinton to win.

The hotly contested primary for the US Senate is going right down to the wire. Steve
Novick has a 38-33 lead over Jeff Merkley, a lead within the poll’s margin of error.
Candy Neville is at 6%, while none of the rest of the candidates exceed 1%. 19% remain
undecided even on the eve of the primary.

Update on the Oregon senate primary as well.

3. The 74% having voted already is very encouraging
Looks like it'll be a huge landslide here.
