1. My enemy is Darth Vader
and his enemy is Yoda. So I vote Yoda.

Your question doesn't make much sense.

2. Just trying to gauge if Clinton supporters will either
Vote Obama because we can't have 4 more years of republican shit, or vote McCain just to spite Obama.

4. I know what you were trying for
and it's stupid. I've seen dozens of threads about people voting for McCain here, and I haven't seen anyone actually SAY they're going to vote for McCain. I've seen one or two say they won't for Obama, but that hardly warrants 10 threads a day on the subject.

3. Yoda's far too old to be President.
At 800+ years, he's actually older than Reagan!

6. He's got experience!
Geez it's not like the job involves a lot of heavy lifting - but he can still do that, too, if required!

Yoda in '08!

and lacks wit...In your fantasy world Yoda would be your friend (which I hope is the case!). If you are a logical american talking politics your enemy should be McCain/Bush, their enemy is Obama (and probably Yoda too) take sometime to think whether Obama is friend or foe.

8. Well I don't have "enemies" in politics
I don't have any enemies in real life either - if you don't count that cocky little schmuck down at Noah's.

It's stupid to think of McCain as my "enemy".

12. The enemy of my enemy is my friend...
has been the basis of American foreign policy and the source of our problems for decades. Slippery slope to even think that way.

13. Well if you think about our situation with Iran for instance
and you think we're serious about wiping out al Qaida (not just calling every brown person al Qaida, but actual terrorist cells) then we'd be working with Iran who al Qaida considers an enemy.

15. Actually, our situation with Iran goes waaaay back
to America's insidious dealings with them in the 50s, when we took out their democratically elected leader and installed the Shah who ended up becoming a murderous dictator, simply so we'd have more access to Middle Eastern oil. In a way, we've been hoisted by our own petard.

16. I know that bit,
but that doesn't mean we shouldn't recognize the state Iran is in now, and Iran is al Qaida's enemy as much as we are, just ask al Qaida.
