Geraldine Ferraro might vote for McCain?!?!?
<skip>
Nancy Wait, 55, a social worker in Columbia City, Ind., said Mr. Obama was far less qualified than Mrs. Clinton and described as condescending his recent assurances that Mrs. Clinton should stay in the race as long as she liked. Ms. Wait said she would “absolutely, positively not” vote for him come fall.

Ms. Ferraro, who clashed with the Obama campaign about whether she made a racially offensive remark, said she might not either. “I think Obama was terribly sexist,” she said.

1. She did not say she might vote for McCain
Just that she may not vote for Obama. But I would like to know what proof she has that Obama is sexist. I am pretty mad about her comments...they give legitimacy to those who are saying women should sit this out to get revenge because Hillary did not win.

8. But not voting for Obama is a vote for McCain
You can't spin that any other way.

13. Not it's not
It's bad, but actually casting a vote for McCain is twice as bad, because in addition to taking a vote away from Obama, it gives a vote to McCain.

20. Well we are going to have to agree to disagree
It gets down to two candidates, no matter how many others are on the ballot.

21. I agree that it sucks either way, but mathetmatically, a vote for McCain does twice as much damage

3. I think just after Obama accepts the nomination in Denver this summer, Geraldine
Ferraro will fill her backyard swimming pool with Cool Whip and jump into it naked from the third-floor window.

That's my prediction.

Imply he is unelectable.

So her world has changed to completely the opposite of what her Democratic compass was when she ran for VP in 84

23. If Obama said Hillary should get out of the race . . .
Ms. Wait would have probably hit the freekin' roof. . .
but when he says Clinton should stay in the race as long as she likes, Ms. Wait says he's being condescending.

Does Ms. Wait post at DU, by chance?
