Hillary spokesperson Howard Wolfson confirms that she raised $22 million last month.

How much of that was money loaned to her own campaign?

How much for the GE and not primary funds?

How much of it is debt?

This would include that mythical 10 million she supposedly brought in after the PA win.

7. Can you believe we have to ask these questions
Why would somebody continue to support a candidate they can't trust on the most basic issue of money management.

10. So either they lied their asses off about the 10 million in one day

13. Well, if she did, then the balance should be ZERO.
Let's see if her FEC confirms Wolfson--it's due to be out by midnight tonight.

14. According to Josh Marshall, it does NOT include the loan
Edited on Tue May-20-08 09:41 PM by Hardhead
A number of readers have written in to ask whether Hillary Clinton's $22 million raised in April includes her own loan to her campaign of $6.4 million. Greg Sargent asked Howard Wolfson. And the answer was, no. It doesn't include that money.

So, taking the campaign at their word, they raised $10 million in one day, and another $10 million the rest of the month. Hillary loans herself almost enough to make it appear that her campaign is breaking even, but in fact, they're down at least $2 million for the month, assuming expenditures of $1 million a day. (Jebus, a million a day to run a losing campaign. It's obscene what money has done to democracy.)
