Does anyone really think Hillary has a chance in 2012 after this disaster?
First off, Obama will be president from 2008 to 2016.

Even if he is not there will be no 2012 plan because she has ruined her image with 50% of the dems.

She had EVERY advantage this time around. And failed.

In 2012 she will have 1/2 if not more of the Dems hating her after the way she acted during this election.

What in the world makes anyone think she can win in 2012? This was her last hope.

27. 'Don't be a silly billy! The Democrats could run a dog for President and win in 2008!' -Perry Logan
Got it right off his website, so it must be true. Meantime, I'm going to watch Ann Coulter pick up coins with her vagina and listen to Perry's explanation of why Republican women give the best blowjobs.

28. It's called attacking Republicans instead of Democrats. You ought to give it a whack sometime.

...and just a wee bit childish. But keep on making them. There's an audience for any thing nowadays. Hell, there are still people that support Hillary's campaign!

6. This was her last shot ...
... and she knows it. That's why she's hung on for dear life long after it was rational to do so.

She couldn't win the nomination this time around, having started out with every possible advantage. Another run would mean starting from a disadvantage on too many levels.

Not gonna happen.

9. A little reality for everybody is in order
due to the disaster the dem is inheriting, no matter who takes the WH, many analysis's are expecting a one term presidency. (and if the Dem does well, he will prove them wrong)

Second point... in modern democratic politics you get ONE try at the apple

Third, this is over, and she knows it... think Kennedy in 1980... where is Kennedy today? (I mean apart of very sick)

Her future will be in the senate at this point, and assuming the voters forgive her... her future IS in the senate

She led in the polls by 40 points when she started. She knew everyone in the political field. She had a huge head start and lost. She is a failure.

20. That's a stupid metric
she was the only nationally-known candidate. Of course she'd lead big early on.

This is in no way a disaster, no matter how hard you try to portray it as such.

26. I think ....
And even as I say this I'm just waiting for Hillary supporters to jump on me and call me sexist, but I remember listening to an analyst saying that at this point many in the party heirachy are privately irritated at Hillary for doing things that might hurt the democratic party in the election, and there wouldn't be much support for a 2012 Hillary run.

I don't know whether that is true or not, but I DO know this. If Obama gets the nomination, but fails to win the general election, and it appears to be because the Clinton campaign's attacks damaged him, the democratic party heirachy will never forgive the Clintons. Most of those politicians have more at stake in this coming elections than we do as voters.
