At the end of the day I'm as passionate as they are. I just simply am of the mindset that one need not hate, in order to admire. Too many feel that equal yet opposite reaction to hate that which competes against that which they admire. I merely defend the competition out of respect, because she's one of us. I admire her too. I'm proud of her too. She has some flaws for sure, but I also have never lost sight of who she is and how she's spent the better part of her life fighting for the majority of things that are dear to us as it relates to being Democrats. I know for certain she's a good person doing the best she can, and I will ALWAYS defend such people from decimation. So yeah, taking that sort of strong defensive stance causes some ill will towards me for sure. But I think we both know I'm not one to really care about people's opinions of me lol. But I love Obama. Always have. Can't wait to see him kick McCain's ass all over the fuckin place. He fuckin allllllll sorts of rocked tonight.

Heard Mitch McConnell on a radio interview today and he confirmed the GOP will go after Obama's cocaine and drug use. As McConnell put it - "the criticism of the Dem candidate will be severe".

I've always supported Obama, and it's a bit annoying that I have to be 'welcomed' every time I say something real about that support, just because I normally defend Hillary from the unfair stompings she receives here. Maybe DU would be a bit more united if the mentalities didn't have to be so damn partisan all the time.

I have access to very accurate poll data that says otherwise. Its 50-50 on whether Obama wins the presidency. However, it is highly likely that the dems will pick up a huge number of seats in Congress..Looks like people want a split government again.
