He should gain back a good portion of the popular votes that he lost in KY

but maybe 200,000 is possible

9. Yep, percentage dropped with just Marion reporting.
The red counties haven't been heard from yet.

10. Obama winning Lincoln County (Oregon Coast)
by about 4000 votes, with about two-thirds counted. That's a "white, working-class" county, not a latte liberal bastion

24. I like the map.
A lot of the counties has Clinton ahead, but in the counties where Obama is ahead it's by huge amounts.

There are some enormous counties down there that are just empty.
Harney county is bigger than a bunch of New England states but has just a few thousand people.

THOSE are rural voters.
