I have come to believe that Hillary IS being treated in a sexist manner
Edited on Tue May-20-08 11:29 PM by SoCalDem
Could it just be that the super delegates enjoy watching her wild gyrations and truth-twisting..maybe they like watching her squirm & maneuver..like a cat plays with a mouse...before it just chomps it and swallows it whole?

Surely these savvy people know which candidate is inspiring, which candidate can raise shitloads of money and already HAS offices in all 50 states, which candidate has proven coat-tails THREE Times in recent history..

Maybe they are making a gag-reel of Hillary's most buffoonish speeches or Hillie's Gone Hillbilly, or Hillary's Hometown Campaign Classics..Vol 1,2,3,4,5...

If there is ANY way they can line up their votes before that May 31 fiasco, they may be planning to do just that..

Her behavior alone, has certainly not endeared her to many of the SDs, or more than 1/4 of them would have signed on to her campaign in the beginning, and SHE was the foregone conclusion deeeluxe surefire winner..

So just maybe...in the coming week, we will see a tsunami of delegates to get Obama to that "shut-out" number where even MI and FL will not "do it"..

Then she can cry a little and claim the big bad media & the mean ole boys ganged up on her and chased her out of their clubhouse..

She can go back to DC and pray that someone harms Obama, so she can re-claim her Norma Desmond moment..

The reason her negatives are so high?..well it's pretty obvious now... She's a racebaiting, cheating, conniving, lying ...well.. I dare not say the word..

1. She's getting a pass because she is a woman
All her gaffes and lies were quietly buried by the media. They spent like 2 minutes on sniper gate. I guess that is sexism--sexism against Obama!

3. yep we did not see hour after hour of the Bosnia footage the weekend before a primary
Edited on Tue May-20-08 11:44 PM by SoCalDem
and it was only recently that they even talked about the Rush-bots who GAVE her the slim wins she got in OH,TX, PA, IN,...or the obvious racist-wooing she did in WV or KY..

but we did have bittergate 24-7 and the rev was on auto-play for a whole weekend....

the media propped her up so the could enjoy watching her some more.. Like the Fraternity "Pig Parties".. the "pigs" who don't KNOW they are the "entertainment"..well they are the MOST entertaining:(

7. I was surprised that they used kid gloves after Sniper Gate.
In any other year, under any other circumstance, they'd have been like pigs on a trough over that.

I think they were a little scared of a David Shuster-like attack. Good gawd, Our Liberal Media Sucks.

12. I tend to agree
I think if the roles were reversed, Obama would have been shown the door a month ago. Though, it is hard to tell whether people are more reluctant to be more forceful out of fear of appearing sexist, or whether it is out of respect for her history with the party.

5. Say what you will about Hillary but....
I've never seen anyone with as much determination and resilience as her. She would make a great President.

6. I agree.. She should be President or Queen of Appalachia
She would NOT win CA now, she DIDN'T really win TX or IN (Operation Chaos) and PA got mighty close there at the end too.. People in NY are not all that crazy about her antics either..so some of her "strength" is vastly overrated..

9. And don't forget Ohio
She won, but by about three or four points, given the Limbaugh Effect.

President of Appalachia. Sounds good to me. :-)

13. She can cry all she wants.
When she was winning she was a woman. She said so herself. Now that she lost, the boys club gang's up on her.

18. Hillary was the one making kitchen jokes and how she felt comfortable there.
Now the constant whining is only adding to it. "I'm a woman, hear me whine." The woman could take some lessons from Margaret Thatcher.
