What's the next set of goalposts Hillary will move?
First the important thing was who had the money - until her donations started to dry up.

Then it was about who had the name recognition - until they realized that people who knew about her hated her.

Then it was about who would actually win delegates - until she started to lose primaries & caucuses.

Then it was about who won the important states - "important" meaning only those states she's won, those she's lost don't count - like IL, TX, VA, MD, and WA.

Then it was about who had the popular vote - totally ignoring the voters in caucus states.

Then it was about who had the popular vote, including FL and MI - totally ignoring the fact that they broke the rules they agreed to, Hillary broke the rules she agreed to, and that Obama wasn't even on the ballot in MI - AND until she lost the popular vote.

Now, there aren't enough delegates left uncommitted for her to win. She's done. Finished. Kaput. Tapped out. If she's a loyal Democrat the only thing left for her to do is to get behind the party's candidate and push for his election victory.

Of course she WON'T do that.

1. I can only see this ending with Hillary having some kind of massive breakdown on national TV
and being physically removed.

Seriously.

2. The latest talking point should be out shortly, and the usual suspects
will start posting it in nearly identical language. My guess it that next will be a referral to the rules committee, meeting on may 31.

4. Call me an optimist
I think she is going to argue her ass of on the 31st..lose the argument and step down around the 3rd June.

I don't think her finishing up the primaries is a bad thing at this point...Obama has 2 nice wins coming up

Look at all the voter info we are gathering from these races ..we know much more about our weaknesses than we would had she stepped out .

I worry just a tiny bit that she will go to convention..but I don't think she is a stupid woman I believe she knows what a mistake taking it to the convention would be... I like Hillary...hate the way she campaigns and don't always agree with her ..but I think the list of good she has done outweighs that.

5. Finishing the primaries ...OK
but look at the rhetoric. It's like they're in a time warp and have no communication with the mothership. Running on fumes and losing parts.

It doesn't make sense. I have to see it as a last ditch for the VP slot. Otherwise it's not even rational.

6. Like I said there
is a small part of me that worries..but I tend to believe she is smart enough to to know better...

I haven't like the way she is campaigning for a long time now...this is really no change.

7. I think she's smart too
but sometimes very smart people don't make the best decisions in the crunch. Sometimes they ignore their own hunches and lose track of what their real values are, in their zeal to reach the goal.

I wonder if Hill's just been running so long she's lost touch with reality, like a racehorse
that keeps charging on adrenaline long after the race is over. I could understand that. This whole thing we put political candidates through is so grueling. It doesn't happen in any other country in the world like this.

We'll see. Will Hillary suddenly go from Roller Derby Queen to benign Queen Mother after June 3? Only her hairdresser knows for sure....

I think her rotor might fall off at any point. Going to the convention would be disastrous for HER IMO.
