20. Let's make a deal ...
When she actually conceeds we'll call it second place. But until she stops treating this like warfare and acting like the democratic party and the Obama campaign are trying to cheat her out of the nomination, as if it was the DNC that convinced a majority of the voters, the states, and the delegates to go for Obama, we will call it a loss.

There is a reason why we say John Edwards finished in third place but we say Clinton lost.

Because the second part of "sore loser" is the word loser.

I don't care which candidate right now wins. I'm not excited about either but the "process should be complete" as by our past procedures and accepted state law. States control the election process. Both parties have to abide by them.

If you care about having all Democrats support your candidate in November you'd better play by the rules (not Deans but the state and party membership).

I want Dean fired for even having such a confusing and manipulated election.

76. We didn't lose because of the convention but the candidates
and their failure to listen to the workers...people about what they want. They also allowed the Republicans to steal it.

Iraq war was not even addressed in the 2004 convention. No don't bring it up! Illegal immigration and lawlessness of this administration..no don't give a peep. Why would they vote for a new President who can't offer any better than the one they have (I know it wasn't true but they didn't). Don't blame our loss on a brokered convention. Bush and McCain's primary fight was pretty nasty too.

You are just trying to take away the delegate voices at the convention for the issues which are important to us. Don't silence us!!

I dont want to silence any ones vote or voice. That only gives two months to campaign for the gen election and bring together this divided party where most are threatening not to vote if their candidate is not picked.. I just hope you are right if this does go to the convention, I will vote for who ever the nominee...

As long as McCain is defeated all will be good.

33. Her opponent won.
I try to make that distinction. Suppose, for example that I break in pool and then run the table and then scratch on the 8 ball. I lose, but my opponent did not beat me. I lost all by myself. The same thing could happen in tennis if I lose the tiebreaker in the fifth set by making seven straight unforced errors, then 'I lost'. If, however, we play a five set match, and in a long match like that I will make some unforced errors and so will my opponent. It happens. But if I play my best game in that tiebreaker and my opponent plays better, then my opponent won.

It's time for Hillary to be a good sport. Stop trying to change the rules and complaining about the officiating and hoping that some crazed fan goes after Monica Seles. Maybe chalk dust did fly up in the air, but show a little class.

56. She's a strong enough woman to handle the "L" word.
No need to treat her like a fragile creature.

No further need to mention her unless a progressive Democrat makes a run for her Senate seat.

70. I prefer something more along the lines of "blew an election that was hers to lose."
I remember laughing at her fake tears, and I can't wait to see the real ones at the convention - you know, if she even has the class to show up.

79. ***BREAKING*** Farrakhan Speaks on Hillary Losing
AS-SALAAM ALAIKUM.

In the name of Allah, The Beneficent and The Merciful. We thank Him for allowing Brother Barack to claim glorious victory in the one and only true battle of 2008, and We thank Him for Sister Hillary humbling herself once more by calling on Brother Barack, his most worthy conqueror, to join him in putting an end to the negativity and violence that is plaguing Democratic politics. I am ever grateful to Allah for moving the spirits of these two dynamic and intelligent politicians to see beyond the past and combine their talents for a cause that is so much greater than them. We wish them well in their quest to restore meaning and balance to the Democratic Party, a party that is hungry for change. May Allah bless them.

Brothers and Sisters, as I recounted all of the events leading up to, and especially those after Brother Barack's defeat of Sister Hillary, I was struck by something that I do not believe We, as a people, have ever addressed. It is something that is very serious. Its gravity cannot be overstated. And I believe that we have not ever really spoken of this deadly problem because we do not recognize just how corrosive and poisonous it is to us. It destroys the human spirit with such silent efficiency that it can only be corrected through the grace and will of Allah.

So, Today, my dear Brothers and Sisters, within the context of Brother Barack's defeat of Sister Hillary, I want to talk to you about...losing.

Now, losing has been a part of the human condition forever. Lucifer lost his divinity. Adam and Eve lost their innocence. Pharaoh lost his empire. So, you see losing is a very serious matter. The very act of losing suggests an impending doom. If you have ever experienced a loss, and I'm sure we all have to varying degrees, you'll recall that initial feeling of dread. You knew, deep down in your soul, that nothing would ever be the same. It burns you slowly, don't it?

*Wide Farrakhan smile*

Yes, Brothers and Sisters, so, when Brother Barack told Sister Hillary that the very words he spoke would eventually--slowly and surely--completely change the country, he knew very well of which he spoke. This is why Brother Barack is so intelligent and great at what he does. As a person who has lost something, he knows what losing can do to a person lacking the divine guidance of Almighty Allah. And he knows that we hurt the most when we lose that which is dearest to us. Sister Hillary wanted to be President more than anything. And she was well on her way, armed with the knowledge that anything worth having would require taking a risk. However, by choosing to paint herself as inevitable, Sister Hillary risked everything. And in the politics, if the message doesn't match the mood of the country, you won't connect with the voters. Now, by late 2007, it seemed to all observers that Sister HIllary had her dream firmly in hand. Sister Hillary and her team were already strategizing for the general election. Sister Hillary was the presumptive nominee. Her ego, growing with each poll taken and article written, grew tall enough to incur the wrath of The Most High. And as He did with ol' Pharaoh and Caesar, God was already planning her fate.

*Farrakhan smile*

See, God don't like rulers who are unfit to rule. Persons in positions of power have a responsibility to use their power for the greater good, not to talk about how great they are. Nobody wanna hear all that mess when their jobs are being shipped overseas and their countrymen are dying in Iraq.

*Crowd erupts* *FOI stands*

That kind of leadership serves no purpose in the eyes of Allah. And that which serves no purpose to Allah cannot be. Every *thing* has purpose, until Allah wills it to be without purpose. So, you ask: What was the purpose of allowing Sister Hillary to reign in 2007? Oh, Brothers and Sisters, have we not learned anything from history? Over and Over, God has allowed wicked men to rule for the purpose of showing His people who is the only true ruler. So, in the case of Sister Hillary, God gave her a little taste of glory and set her up to lose. She said she "In it to win it", but what happened? Calling herself inevitalbe! You ain't no God, sister! There is no God but Allah and he proved it again when he let Brother Barack win Iowa! He used Barack as Moses used his staff, a tool of destruction for those who dare challenge Him. You don't challange God!

*FOI stands*

(over applause) When you hear "Change is comming to America" that's not Barack Obama talking. That's God talking through Brother Barack, lettin' Sister Hillary's ass know that her time is up!

*Crowd explodes*

*Farrakhan mean mug, scanning the crowd*

(over crowd)That's God's words! Listen to Him speak:

"You know, they said this day would never come.
They said our sights were set too high.
They said this country was too divided; too disillusioned to ever come together around a common purpose."

That's Allah talking!!!!!

*venue shakes*

*quiets down after 120 seconds*

*Farrakhan smile*

Hillary lost. She lost everything. If you heard her on television, sometime after the people deemed her a loser, you'll recall how broken and detached she sounded. She was lost. She lost. She has never fully recovered from it. No one ever truly recovers from a loss. This is why if you say to a Hillbot the words "Hillary lost" they get emotional. Ya know, something deep down in 'em starts to bother them a little. They start acting a little funny, don't they? That's because being reminded of their loss awakens in them all the feelings they felt in that time immediately after the loss. It's like smelling the favorite perfume of an ex-girlfriend or seeing a dearly departed loved one's favorite movie on the TV. It just hits 'em funny.

In the name of Allah...

Hillary lost.
