3. Those may not be as strong chances as Colorado
Plus the convention will be here in Colorado. The state is trending blue. We picked a Dem for the gov. The mayor of Denver is also a Dem now. Plus Democrats, Salazar, picked up a senate seat in 04.

7. Iowa should definitely go to Obama. New Mexico is a pretty good chance.
Nevada is a bit more of a reach.

Gore won Iowa and New Mexico, and Kerry lost them by the slimmest of margins.

I feel particularly good about Iowa because Obama spent so much time there in the primaries and people got to know him before the rest of the country did. McCain barely campaigned in Iowa, focusing all of his energy on New Hampshire, and this year is the second time he blew off the Iowa caucuses. Now that I think about it, Obama should make that an issue if the Republicans try to use Michigan and Florida against us.

13. I think Obama takes Iowa. NM, not so sure
Nevada either. He might lose NH, too.

5. Yeah right...
Florida is right wing paradise and open to too many shenanigans.

The West will win this for the Dems.

9. yeah but Obama is making gains.
after all the demagogery by Hillary in FL it may have hurt Obama, but he will continue to make gains, besides Hillary isn't going to be the nominee-period.

8. I thought it was "way too early" to give any serious consideration to GE polls?

Because if it isn't, let's talk about all the swing state polls that have Obama losing to McCain right now.
