I am so EXCITED.....Heading out to Maitland....

I am so excited. I am leaving in about 45 minutes to head to Maitland for a private fundraiser with Obama and about 300 supporters. I can't wait but I am soooo nervous. Will try to report back later tonight with photos and memories. It is closed to the press so I will have to be your ears and eyes.

I just found this site while searching on line for photos of the event last night. I loved your entries and it made me feel like I was there. My son attended the event last night and did not have his camera and he is in the background of one of the shots that you took. I am working on a surprise scrapbook for him. Since he became involved in Barack's campaign in December the change in him has been amazing. I was wondering if by chance you might have any other photos of the event. He was near the door where Barack entered the room and near the stage. He got to shake hands with him. He was in a black shirt with grey stripes. I would appreciate any help you could offer.
