DUers up for camping in Denver for DNC Convention, take note...

I have a good friend who has a 30-acre farm about 30 miles from Denver near Boulder who has been talking about allowing some close buddies to camp out there and go to the convention during the day.

I've been there several times and it's a bit dusty with sagebrush during hot summers, but with the right camping equipment, could make for a decent and exceedingly cheap way to have a great time and hit the convention as well.

Based on how Hillary Clinton may take her little battle to the convention, it's bound to be either highly amusing or just plain historically strange.

Your state committee may require you to be present at a given location (likely the hotel with reservations for the state delegation) at a given time EACH DAY to get your convention pass for that day. For example, my state committee is requiring all delegates/alternates to be present at the 8am breakfast each day to get that day's pass. If, for example, a delegate does not make it there on time, an alternate will be 'elevated' and given the delegate pass for that day. That means that daily attendance basically requires staying in the hotel or very close by, not off miles away. I'm not sure how other states will do it, but convention passes change daily and are available only daily.
