the front of the line, offer no explanations...you get to capture our Democracy. And, if you moan and groan about the unfairness of being female, you also get a pass...and if you happen to be the spouse of a former President, you get to say "you owe me, don't ask questions." I guess if you use the country's future to negotiate your ill-begotten campaign debt's payoff, you are some sort of a heroine? Just like the guys? Yup, just like the guys. And I guess that if the political party that we have chosen to place our future with and our childrens' future with will allow this to play out in all of it venality, that party doesn't really give a shit about our future. Great, good, nice...now I have no place to go...good work...what a disappointment, what a failure, what a fraud.

And I suspect she's on the verge of being greeted with similar derision if she continues this charade.

10. GOOD point

In American politics it seems not to matter tho...I guess there are a lot of people who think Tonya Harding had a good plan that just didn't get executed well, like the war in Iraq.

I don't want to start an argument, but I suspect that you're on to something here.

She thinks this is just like the guys, being tough, never giving up and all that. But actually, one of the stereotypical things guys learn from sports how to be a good loser as well as a winner. There is a time to give up and congratulate the other side on a game well-played. Never giving up isn't necessarily a virtue. If the costs of battling on outweigh the likely benefits, it's a good time to gracefully concede defeat. If you think about Rocky, for example, and how he would always keep getting back up and fighting and taking more blows to the head, in real life, this guy would have ended up with very severe brain damage and still have lost the fights.
