Oust Hillary from the Senate 2012?
This may be a bit extreme, but if she continues to allow her spokespeople to legitimize and laud Faux News and Rovian tactics, as well as allowing the hag-who-cried-sexism Geraldine Ferraro to spread lies about Obama's patent sexism, I say that we start a grassroots movement to oust the pseudo-New Yorker from her Senate seat in 2012. Another presidential run in 2012? Ha, good luck hanging onto your seat!

1. ABSOLUTELY
Her unknown, unfunded challenger in 2006 (Tasini) managed to get 20% of the primary vote. Imagine what a progressive candidate with a recognizable name and some fundraising capability could do. Sign me up!

2. Hillary will be ousted from the Senate in 2009.
By ousted, I mean replaced by the NY Governor after she assumes the presidency in January 2009.

5. Yes, she has to go. She must be ousted from the party for good.
The search for an opponent should be started immediately. Ideally, more than one good candidate should run, flanking her on both sides of her politics. She'll be drowning in the presidential campaign debt, and that will inhibit her ability to raise money for her senate campaign.

She is not a good Democrat in a state that deserves a real Democrat. She'll probably run for governor of NY between now and then, anyway.

He's a true progressive. He's a true environmental advocate. And, he's a legitimate New Yorker. He deserves this seat.

In my opinion, Hillary is just wasting space!

21. I really don't think she represents our views. Plus, the job was just a stepping stone
for her.

The goal is not just to have someone with a D after his/her name, the goal is to get truly progressive people in office so we can make true progress without getting sidetracked by wars for oil.

I really hope a liberal challenger emerges soon.
