McCain's overly effusive praise of Bush on the war in Iraq today in FL...
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/F/FL_BUSH_FLORIDA_FLOL-?SITE=FLPET&SECTION=STATE&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

"Some of my happiest and most exciting times of my life were spent here in Pensacola, so I'm glad the statute of limitations has expired," McCain joked.

He then praised Bush for his leadership in the war against terrorism and called the invasion of Iraq "a noble and just cause."

"He has more than earned our support," said McCain, who has buried past differences with Bush stemming from his 2000 campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. "He has earned our admiration and our love."

3. from article
The only boos came when Bush pointed out that his Democratic opponent,

Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry and Kerry's running mate, North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, were among only 12 senators

who voted against an $87 billion spending bill to finance the war in Iraq.

I just don't know where he's going to come down from one day to the next. I can't imagine why McCain is supporting bush* after the crap that was thrown at him in the primaries of 2000.

17. Same here, I actually switched to Republican to vote for McCain
in the 2000 primary. In 2000 the Bush campaign portrayed him as kind of a loose cannon, since then I think they were right. I saw McCain make a speech not long ago just raising hell about the deficit and the tax cut for the rich, then a few days latter he is campaigning for Bush. I am starting to think he is just plain crazy.

10. Absolutely incredible
McCain spent 5 1/2 years in the Hanoi Hilton and they couldn't break him.

Karl Rove must have planted a chip in McCain's brain. Nothing else makes sense.

12. Not True
McCain actually admitted to signing a document after being beaten by NVA guards. This admission was made in a story in an article in the US News and World Report, dated 05-14-73.

I guess we'll have to get the next issue of US News and World Reports,
after McCain writes his next article.

20. What do you expect from *Bush's future V.P. pick?
You watch. Come the Repug convention, Cheney is going to decline the nomination, because of "health reasons". After an effusive show of love from the convention for Cheney, Bush will tell the assembled that Cheney will still be a "special counselor" to him, and then, he will nominate McCain.

I'm taking bets now.....

John McCain is a traitor to this nation. How can he go from being an uber patriot, and former military hero, to Bush's ass lick, completely fries my logic receptors, ESPECIALLY after all the nasty crap Bush did to him. He is either insane, or he wants to be VP REAL bad...
