McCain on Ellen's show just a scheduling coincidence?

Some may think so. Nothing cynical or manipulating? Sorry, I can't buy that. I think it is the visual proof that McCain will need when their attempt to outlaw same-sex marriage goes full stride. Maybe I think the worst of the Republicans? Anyway, they could never get that issue to work again? People are much smarter and more tolerant now? Right?

The Repubs will not be able to use this issue as they did the last presidential election - when they won 11 of 12 states that had the gay-marriage amendment. If they do use this as a political issue once again, how should the Democrats react? In my opinion, the Democrats should simply say it is not an issue that most Americans are concerned about. As usual, the Republicans wish to divert people's attention away from more important issues. And drop the subject.

We are all cheering Ellen right now for confronting him, he just became a hero in freeperville for going to the belly of the beast and repeating their talking points.
