Poll question: If Obama WERE To Select Hillary As His VP - Who Would Hold More Power Once That Ticket Was Elected?
In an Obama-Hillary White House?

Would it be a Bush-Cheney style power arrangement, with Hillary essentially being the de facto president, or would it be more of a Clinton-Gore type deal, with Hillary have authority over minor issues, but no question that Obama would be running the show?

Your thoughts?

18. Why?
Have you heard ANY reports of him meddling or interfering with her job as US Senator?

No, because there have been absolutely none. Just another Clinton-hater lie.

2. I won't vote in your poll because I think the idea of HRC as VP is too absurd to merit consideration
Obama would be an utter fool to give the Clintons a place on his ticket. My hope is that he's no fool.

She would get a chance to re-vist all those 80 countries because I can see Obama sending her on the road to find Carmen Sandiego.

16. Yes, but I fear he would
spend his entire presidency "handling" them. They'd be undermining him constantly.

15. A better Choice
Bob Graham of Florida, for several reasons:
-As former Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee (IIRC), he would add foreign-policy cred
-He is well respected in Florida, and would help deliver that crucial battleground state
-He provides balance: he is white, Southern, and age (about McCain's age, I believe)
-And speaking of age, he has the advantage of not being a presumptive successor to Obama, so Clinton (or Edwards, or--?) a shot in '16
-For that matter, he may only want or be able to serve one term as Veep, which would allow Obama to select a strong successor for his second run in '12

17. If this happened it would be Hillary....
... but it's not going to happen.

If you get Hillary, you get Bill, and I don't see how Obama could put up with their stubbornness for very long. The Clinton's would be raising havoc all the time, and that is precisely why Hillary will not be Obama's VP.
