Does he (McCain) really think his age helps him?

4. For an old man with quite a lot of experience,...
...McCain's done jack shit (if you discount the 7 year long tongue-colonoscopy he's been giving Shrub).

5. Such hypocritical garbage. GWB was a 'figurehead' Governor. That's it.
The Governor of Texas is a 'weak' Governor, with very few real executive powers ... not even pardon power. The Lt. Governor arguably has more influence in his legislative role. It's sickening how that turd's background was inflated and plated.

8. I lived in Texas when the little son of a bitch got elected Governor...
The first thing he did was completely fuck the school system, then he installed his cronies into every imaginable position...

no accountability, no values of any human sort, no real ability to do anything except fuck up....

Sound familiar??

11. He wasn't even on my radar until the Karla Faye Tucker
execution, then when I found out he was running for POTUS I thought it was a joke! Thanks Texas!!!!

"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are few other Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid."

- President Dwight D. Eisenhower, 11/8/54

Thank God Ike wasn't a fortune teller!

13. I saw him and - maybe - Rove walking near the Governor's mansion one afternoon....
If I could have shot lightning bolts out of my ass I could have changed history.

6. Well, for a pasty-faced, rickety old douchebag with a lousy temper...
...McCain hasn't done too badly, either.

It helps to marry into money, doesn't it, St. Maverick?

7. In 2000 Republicans lectured us that experience was not important
How well does the governorship of Texas (a constitutionally weak office) prepare one for the presidency? What, occasional chit-chats with the Mexican ambassador?

While McCain stands little chance, and shows little sign of realizing how poorly prepared he is for the campaign ahead of him, much less for the office of president.
