A thought on Senator Clinton's failure to secure the nomination....
...Senator Clinton is a high achieving, Type A personality (I'm one too so I recognize the symptoms). These type of people almost never fail and because of that reinforcement when the inevitable failure rears its ugly head the implosion can be gothic (I remember my first failure and trust me I was not pleasant to be around). The problem, as I see it, is that if it happens relatively early in one's career or life position it is somewhat manageable, however, in the case of Senator Clinton, if it happens at a meta-high level - such as running for President - the bursting radius can have manifestations that are dangerous to both the individual and the sphere of influence that it affects.

Hillary Clinton almost needs an intervention in this case and there are very few people on the planet who can do this. (My suggestion: Margaret Thatcher).

2. It doesn't help that she is surrounded by high achievers and
so it's not just one person that needs the intervention.

5. I consider the sychophants around her....
...to be second and third tier individuals. They should have seen what was coming after they saw Senator Obama's campaign start to rake in contributions from individuals at a higher volume than Senator Clinton's. They should have immediately changed course at that point. Senator Obama saw a way to tap into the vast YouTube, Facebook et.al. network (that first surfaced during the Dean campaign) and it will carry him to victory in November. Senator Clinton sided with the big money interests and the 20th century, five minute ago strategy.

Her people are dinosaurs and the meteor has landed.

3. Um. Until I see an official pronouncement, I have to consider that
Senator Obama has failed to secure the nomination, also.
