Obama Camp response to Assassination as reason to stay in the race remarks

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement that “Senator Clinton's statement before the Argus Leader editorial board was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign."

Not as strong as I would have liked, but at least they are on it.

Here's hoping a few supers are announced because of it.

4. No, low key is perfect for right now.
This really lowers the bar on what he needs to do to unite the party. Just say, "I think her choice of words were unfortunate, but certainly she didn't mean it that way." Imagine the boost he can get out of being the bigger person here. Imagine the mileage of acting mature and presidential while everyone else is in full outrage mode.

5. It's just right....they made a statement..the people can decide what they think.
..and I think most people will be disgusted.

Especially those of us with memories from those days. I am nauseous becuae it is too close to fears that many of us have.
