Isn't this an out-and-out lie?
George Bush's campaign chuckle (who can ever forget "Lucky me, I hit the trifecta!") from the other day:

"Senator Kerry now agrees with me that even though we have not found the stockpile of weapons we all believe were there, knowing everything we know today, he would have voted to go into Iraq and remove Saddam Hussein from power. I want to thank Senator Kerry for clearing that up."

Of course, the speech writers had to dumb it down so that W wouldn't mess it up, but I believe that what Kerry was saying is that he voted for the use of force WHEN ALL AVENUES OF DIPLOMACY WERE EXHAUSTED. In other words, as a last resort, not a first option.

1. You know what I am going to do?
I am going to run for office and just make up stuff about my opponent. I'll start locally. "Mayor Johnson said the other day that he likes fucking sheep before he eats them. I'd like to thank the Mayor for clearing that up." Since apparently it doesn't matter if what you say is true or not.

5. That's exactly what Nixon did -
His first campaigns consisted of nothing but calling his opponents
communists. It worked! Go for it!

2. Kerry needs to hammer
that very point before the public, since it seems most Republicans are incapable of making the *subtle* distinction :eyes:

3. A lie, or another example of Bush relying on faulty intelligence, namely
his own.
