31. Maybe you are uninformed that he has been actively campaigning for the seat
and even has a web site to the effect. It has caused considerable negative comment in the NY area and has undermined the integrity of his endorsement of her.

The founder of Riverkeeper also told restaurateur Nello Balan he's interested in running for Sen. Hillary Clinton's seat when it becomes vacant. Kennedy is convinced that if Clinton doesn't win the presidency, she'll quit the Senate when her term expires and join the private sector.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_F._Kennedy,_Jr.
Political aspirations

In an interview in O, The Oprah Magazine, Kennedy hinted that he would run for the position of United States Senator from New York if Hillary were to win the 2008 Presidential election that, saying "If Hillary left the Senate, I might run for that seat." This was seen by Democratic observers as "a blunt warning to possible rivals."<36> The Robert Kennedy Jr. Exploratory Committee is looking to run RFK Jr. for the US Senate seat in the State of Connecticut.

Here is the website, 'Robert Kennedy Jr for president'
http://rfkin2008.wordpress.com/2008/01/03/will-rfk-jr-reclaim-his-fathers-senate-seat/

It was not the first time that Kennedy Jr had hinted that he might enter politics, but Democratic sources saw his remarks as a blunt warning to possible rivals.

Despite his name and his family’s still formidable political clout, Kennedy Jr was long considered an unlikely contender for the high office occupied by so many other members of his family. His father was senator for New York from 1964 until he was shot dead in California in 1968; his uncle Jack was a senator before becoming president and his uncle Ted remains a senator for Massachusetts.

Yet Kennedy Jr’s career prospects were clouded by an arrest

The Kennedy's have always been dignified and a bit aloof about their personal grief. RFK Jr allied himself with Hillary years ago before the grand unveiling of her true nature.

5. It wasn't the Kennedies that she offended (even if that is where she directed her faux apology)
It was all Americans, Obama and his supporters. They are the ones offended by the vulture, who is hoping someone will kill Obama. They are offended and rightful so. SHAME on any of the shameless hillary supporters. There is no way any good Democrat or even a good person, could still support her.

would have answered the questions. Are the Kennedys are not Americans? I know of NO family more American than the Kennedy family.

You know, deep in your heart, that Senator Clinton was not voicing a wish that anyone would be harmed, or damanged. The meaning of that statement is as obvious as Michele Obama's "really proud of America" statement. That uproar was viciously manufactured just as this one is. Just as the "these people are Shi**s" video. RFK Jr. knows it. Senator Obama knows it. Why do you suppose they know it? Are they not mature adults either?

27. I honestly believe that RFK, Jr. is employing the psychological defense mechanisms
Edited on Fri May-23-08 10:18 PM by ShortnFiery
of "Repression" and "Intellectualization." RFK, Jr. is NOT READY to permit himself to believe that HRC is THAT conniving. It's what we all do from time to time: employ psychological defense mechanisms. However, with time, he will distance himself from her. Many of HRCs staunch supporters WILL NOT process the facts and fall-out of her deplorable behavior.

I understand because I didn't want to believe it either. No joke, I adored HRC during the 1990s. I lived in the Officer Housing section of a military base and constantly defended HRC against the most VILE attacks. When we would drive by the WH, I'd quip to my toddler daughter, "Look honey, that's where the President lives with her husband 'Bill.'"

BUT after researching their past behavior, I have to conclude that the Clintons are, in the least "bigots," in that, they've played WEDGE politics during their entire political career.

Please TRY to process the fact that Bill and Hillary Clinton are NOT people of sound moral character?

NO, we should not hate the Clintons, but it's time for our beloved country to MOVE BEYOND the politics of division.

for a 'catastrophic event" delivering her the nomination has nothing to do with the Kennedy's. It has to do with Hillary. I would doubt any of the Kennedy's would express outrage at her comments. She is only bringing up the assassination as her reasoning for staying in the race.
